Mrs. Elliott's Montessori Classroom

The students had health today and they discussed caffeine and sugar.  We spent a lot of our time today designing our Book Trailers.  These are really starting to take shape! Homework tonight:  - returning work from home  - spirit day tomorrow Hawaiian   Have a good night!

Today we did a RoboThink workshop.  The students had so much fun creating and building!  We had a work block day today as the children have a couple of projects on the go right now.  We are creating book trailers using the novels they have read.  We are also putting the final touches on our memory slide decks that they have been creating all year! Homework tonight:  - please finish your streetscapes if they have not been completed  - rough copy of your book trailer (I can help those tomorrow who are having trouble finishing this) Have a good night.

We shared our performances with our little buddies today.  Thank you for the wonderful ice cream treat today!  The children loved getting ice cream cones today.  This morning we learned/reviewed how to play Lahal.   Homework tonight:  - streetscapes if not complete  - gym tomorrow Have a good night!

We had a very busy day today!  We learned about animal adaptations and the physical, chemical and behavioural adaptations animals can make.  We did a Math Monday slow reveal graph today.  We also worked on our book trailers.  These will be due next Wednesday. Homework tonight:  - home reading  - we are performing air bands for our little buddies tomorrow  - all library books due on Friday Have a wonderful evening.

 Today the students performed their air bands.  They did a wonderful job!  We finished our final fast fact practice today.  The students will graph their data next week to see how they did over the past six weeks.  The students also had work block time today.  Some will be bringing home some homework this weekend. Homework:  - streetscape if not complete  - math package if not complete  - biome packages are now overdue Have a wonderful weekend!

We had air band practice in the gym this morning.  They children will be presenting these to the class tomorrow.  There will be no room for any parents/families to attend.  In health the children talked about caffeine.   Homework:  - home reading  - air bands tomorrow  - book trailer rough copy due tomorrow by the end of the day Have a good night!
