Today we had a viewing of the book trailers that the students created.  They did an amazing job with these!  We also did a final goal reflection for the third term. Tomorrow we will be bringing home our duotangs, please send your child with an extra bag as everything will not fit in a backpack. Today we had our Biome in a Box Maker Day!  The students will present these tomorrow and bring them home tomorrow afternoon.  On Wednesday we will be bringing home some of our learning from the year.  Please bring an extra bag. We had a super fun Year in a Day celebration today.  We celebrated New Years, Valentine's Day, Easter, Spring Break, May Long Weekend Camping, National Indigenous Day, Canada Day, Summer Holidays, Halloween and Christmas!  It was a busy, but fun day! A reminder that Monday is our Maker Day so please make sure that your child has a small box to create their biome. Have a wonderful weekend!

We had a presentation in the gym today to learn more about indigenous weaving.  The children were starting to finish up their work and many started to help prepare the Montessori materials for the summer break.   Homework tonight:  - home reading  - biome paragraph/animal research if not complete  - memory slides if not complete  - probability package if not complete  - small box for Monday Have a good night!

We had our last Work Block Wednesday of the year today!  The children were busy finishing their core competency reflections, book trailers, probability experiments, animal adaptation slides and memory slides.  Phew!  So much fun learning happening in the room right now! This morning we went and looked at the biomes that were created in another class.  We also had our last fire drill of the year.  We did some drama games in the afternoon and shared a lot of laughs!  Today we also completed our Core Competency Reflections.  These will come home next week.
