Wednesday June 18th

We had our last Work Block Wednesday of the year today!  The children were busy finishing their core competency reflections, book trailers, probability experiments, animal adaptation slides and memory slides.  Phew!  So much fun learning happening in the room right now!

Homework tonight:
 - home reading
 - yr 6 immunization took place today, forms coming home

We did our fast fact practice again today.  I was VERY pleased to see an improvement in almost everyone from last week!  This afternoon we continued working on our vanishing point art.  Due to the many absences in the classroom today we decided to wait until Monday to do our Word Study Dictation. Thursday January 16th

This afternoon we talked about our Heritage Stamps.  We will be working on these more in the following week.  We will also be starting a novel study next week.  Today we looked and voted on the possible novels we will be reading. Homework tonight:  - home reading  - word study dictation tomorrow  - bring outside clothes for Physical literacy tomorrow afternoon Have a great evening!

Thursday May 15th

This morning we did our fast facts practice.  We also completed our word study dictation today.  We joined a virtual presentation from the National Ballet of Canada today.  Please ask your child to tell you about it. Homework this weekend:  - no school Friday or Monday  - track zone permission slips went home today  - core competency reflections if not complete  - word study package if not complete  - rock cycle package if not complete  - map due Tuesday at the end of the day   Have a good long weekend!
