 Some of us worked on our April Memory slide decks today.  We worked on What In The World and Canadian Reader articles for comprehension today.  We had health lessons with Ms. Katy today. Homework  - math packages need to be completed for grades 5/6, these are overdue  - gym tomorrow  - library tomorrow  - headphones for an upcoming Chromebook activity.  I will label these with your child's name.  - Friday - wear red Have a wonderful evening!

 Today we did some brainstorming about the questions that we would like to answer in our new Government unit.  We used Google Drawings to illustrate one of the poems we have been working on this month.  Our Math Monday today was about estimating apples in a vase.  We did a great job with this! Homework  - year 5/6 math packages on area and perimeter are now overdue.  These were due last Friday  - French -er verb packages for year 5/6 are now overdue.  These were due last Friday.  - headphones, please have your child bring in an inexpensive set of headphones for a project in two weeks time Please check with your child and ask them about homework.  Many students are not completing their homework right now.

 I will be away for the remainder of the week.  I will return to the classroom on Monday.  The blog will not be updated on Thursday and Friday.  Please check your child's agenda. Today in gym we worked on shot put and high jump.  We each took out a novel to read by the end of May in preparation for a June project.  We wrote some diamonte poetry today.  Homework  - Year 5 and 6 math packages will be due by the end of the day Friday or they will be homework on the weekend  - ER verb French package will be due Friday or will be homework on the weekend - Charter illustrations are overdue - Spirit Day Friday - Fancy Friday  - Gym tomorrow Have a great rest of the week and weekend.

 Today we made flowers out of clay with our buddies.  We went outside this morning and wrote some Haiku poetry about nature.   Homework  - Charter drawings are now overdue  - Haiku poem if not done  - Open House Folders signed and returned  - Math packages - yr 6 ratio, yr 4 - perimeter now overdue  - Gym tomorrow  - Library tomorrow Have a good evening.

Welcome to our new classroom blog!  As the next few months are going to get busy, I thought that this would be a place that we can update daily in class while we are writing in our agendas.  This way if an agenda has been forgotten, the information can be found here. Thank you to all those who were able to make it to our classroom open house.  The students loved being able to share their learning with you.  To those who were unable to make it today, your child should be bringing home a folder.  Please record your reflections and send this back with your child on Tuesday.
