Wednesday April 24

 I will be away for the remainder of the week.  I will return to the classroom on Monday.  The blog will not be updated on Thursday and Friday.  Please check your child's agenda.


Today in gym we worked on shot put and high jump.  We each took out a novel to read by the end of May in preparation for a June project.  We wrote some diamonte poetry today.

 Homework

 - Year 5 and 6 math packages will be due by the end of the day Friday or they will be homework on the weekend

 - ER verb French package will be due Friday or will be homework on the weekend

- Charter illustrations are overdue

- Spirit Day Friday - Fancy Friday

 - Gym tomorrow

Friday May 9th

We did our fast fact practice again today.  I was VERY pleased to see an improvement in almost everyone from last week!  This afternoon we continued working on our vanishing point art.  Due to the many absences in the classroom today we decided to wait until Monday to do our Word Study Dictation. Homework:  - home reading  - word study if not complete  - core competencies if not complete Have a wonderful weekend!  Happy Mother's Day on Sunday!

Monday November 4th

Today we went to the library and continued to challenge ourselves with programing the Edisons.  The students had to build a pencil holder and then create a program to draw a circle.  We have started a review of patterning as well in Math. Homework:  - home reading  - word study  - unfinished work   - library tomorrow  - gym tomorrow  - art card order due  Have a great night!
