Friday Sept. 13

 We did our class beliefs today.  The students have brainstormed a list of what is important to them in our classroom.  They came up with THREE PAGES of ideas!  We will continue to work on this list next week.  We had our first fire drill with a bell today.  They modeled this for our little buddies today.  Homework this weekend:

 - 5/6 Word Study Sentence Parsing

Monday November 4th

Today we went to the library and continued to challenge ourselves with programing the Edisons.  The students had to build a pencil holder and then create a program to draw a circle.  We have started a review of patterning as well in Math. Homework:  - home reading  - word study  - unfinished work   - library tomorrow  - gym tomorrow  - art card order due  Have a great night!

Thursday October 31

 Today we had a STEM challenge where the students were challenged to build a launcher for a bouncy ball.  Tomorrow we will go outside and test our builds.  We will be outside for a portion of the day tomorrow to complete a couple of activities (as long as it is not raining) so please make sure that you are dressed for the weather.  In the afternoon the students enjoyed a variety of Halloween activities.   Homework tonight:  - Have a safe and happy Halloween!  - Field Trip Permission Form
