Monday October 7th

 Today we had a lesson in the library and learned how to place books on hold.  The students will be coming home with a page today so that they can do this from home as well.  They can only have three books on hold at a time.  For Math Monday today we had an Estimation 180 question.  They had to estimate the number of almonds in a 1/4 cup measure.

Homework tonight:

 - home reading

 - word study practice (this will be our last week of "No Excuse" words)

 - library tomorrow

 - gym tomorrow

 - headphones for Wednesday please

Friday May 9th

We did our fast fact practice again today.  I was VERY pleased to see an improvement in almost everyone from last week!  This afternoon we continued working on our vanishing point art.  Due to the many absences in the classroom today we decided to wait until Monday to do our Word Study Dictation. Monday November 4th

Today we went to the library and continued to challenge ourselves with programing the Edisons.  The students had to build a pencil holder and then create a program to draw a circle.  We have started a review of patterning as well in Math. Homework:  - home reading  - word study  - unfinished work   - library tomorrow  - gym tomorrow  - art card order due  Have a great night!
