Wednesday October 2

Today was a BUSY work block Wednesday.  The weather was so nice today that the children were able to go outside for gym.  We had a lock down practice this morning and the students did a great job of sitting quietly.  The year four students also started their FSA. We also started our gratitude pumpkin for the month of October.  Each day the students will each share what they are grateful for and we will write it on our pumpkin.  Our hope is to fill the pumpkin by the end of the month.

Homework tonight

 - home reading

 - word study

 - email home regarding Parent Teacher Interviews

 - headphones for upcoming Typing Pal work

 - French Colours

 - My Mouth is a Volcano activity overdue

Have a great evening!

September 4 - Welcome Back!

Today we reviewed our RoaRS expectations and made flowers to contribute to our school mural.  Some of the grade fours started doing bead chains.  We also did a Get to Know You Bingo to make connections with our classmates.  Agendas will be coming home soon!

Friday May 9th

We did our fast fact practice again today.  I was VERY pleased to see an improvement in almost everyone from last week!  This afternoon we continued working on our vanishing point art.  Due to the many absences in the classroom today we decided to wait until Monday to do our Word Study Dictation. Homework:  - home reading  - word study if not complete  - core competencies if not complete Have a wonderful weekend!  Happy Mother's Day on Sunday!

Thursday June 26th

Well, unfortunately I was home sick today and did not get to have the goodbye I would have liked with the students today.  I hope that everyone has a wonderful summer.  I look forward to seeing all of the children in September!
