Wednesday February 12th

 This morning we talked more about our Heritage Fair projects.  We discussed the difference between Primary and Secondary Sources and the importance of using both in research projects.  In gym today the students did Handball and Basketball.

Homework tonight:

 - home reading (read out loud)

 - Word Study due tomorrow

 - Lit Circles 1,2,3 if not complete

 - Canadian Reader/What in the World if not complete

 - Young Artist submissions are due tomorrow for those that are choosing to submit

Today we reviewed our RoaRS expectations and made flowers to contribute to our school mural.  Some of the grade fours started doing bead chains.  We also did a Get to Know You Bingo to make connections with our classmates.  Agendas will be coming home soon!

Monday November 4th

Today we went to the library and continued to challenge ourselves with programing the Edisons.  The students had to build a pencil holder and then create a program to draw a circle.  We have started a review of patterning as well in Math. Homework:  - home reading  - word study  - unfinished work   - library tomorrow  - gym tomorrow  - art card order due  Have a great night!

Thursday October 31

 Today we had a STEM challenge where the students were challenged to build a launcher for a bouncy ball.  Tomorrow we will go outside and test our builds.  We will be outside for a portion of the day tomorrow to complete a couple of activities (as long as it is not raining) so please make sure that you are dressed for the weather.  In the afternoon the students enjoyed a variety of Halloween activities.   Homework tonight:  - Have a safe and happy Halloween!  - Field Trip Permission Form
