Monday March 10

We had a lesson on using quotation marks this morning.  We will be citing sources in our upcoming project and will need to know how to do this properly.  This afternoon we had a lesson in the library about using the Gale source - Canada in Context to help us with our Heritage Fair research.

We had some silliness in the classroom this afternoon with materials being hidden.  We discussed how this is not a funny joke, but property that belongs to other children.  Please discuss the importance of not touching and moving items that do not belong to them with your child.

Homework tonight:

  -home reading

 - Lap Books Due Friday

 - Heritage Fair research
