Wednesday April 2

This afternoon we worked on our Typing Pal programs.  We also had a chance to answer some challenge questions in Prodigy.  In the morning we worked on writing our Heritage Fair paragraphs.  These should be completed by the end of the week.  Next week we will focus on editing and creating our backboards.  I have heard that some stores are sold out, but the children are telling me that they have found them at Dollar Tree and the dollar store by Save on Foods, as well as the one by Shoppers in Valleyview.

Homework tonight:

  - home reading out loud

 - BBQ basket

 - Heritage Fair writing and notes

Have a good night!

September 4 - Welcome Back!

Today we reviewed our RoaRS expectations and made flowers to contribute to our school mural.  Some of the grade fours started doing bead chains.  We also did a Get to Know You Bingo to make connections with our classmates.  Agendas will be coming home soon!

Homework:  - home reading  - word study if not complete  - core competencies if not complete Have a wonderful weekend!  Happy Mother's Day on Sunday!

Thursday June 26th

Well, unfortunately I was home sick today and did not get to have the goodbye I would have liked with the students today.  I hope that everyone has a wonderful summer.  I look forward to seeing all of the children in September!
