Friday May 2

This morning we went out and started prepping the school garden for planting.  We did a perplexor in math today.  We also did a fast facts practice.  This will be happening weekly for the next five weeks.  After six weeks of data, we will graph our individual progress.  The students were given 5 minutes and 100 multiplication questions to answer.  We talked about fun ways to practice these facts at home, like playing Math Snap.  Please remember when playing Math Snap with your child that you are giving them a bit of think time (minimum 3 seconds) before you are answering, until they are feeling more confident with their answers.

Homework:

 - home reading

- fast facts

 - grade six band Monday, bring instruments

Have a great weekend!
