Friday September 26th

Today we learned/reviewed how to put our own library books on hold.  We also did our first Comprehension Cliffhanger of the year today!  This is where I read the first part of the story and stop in an exciting moment.  The children have to write the ending of the story.

Homework this weekend:

 - Orange Shirt Day Monday

 - No School Tuesday (National Truth and Reconciliation Day)

 - home reading

Have a wonderful weekend!

We did our fast fact practice again today.  I was VERY pleased to see an improvement in almost everyone from last week!  This afternoon we continued working on our vanishing point art.  Due to the many absences in the classroom today we decided to wait until Monday to do our Word Study Dictation. Homework:  - home reading  - word study if not complete  - core competencies if not complete Have a wonderful weekend!  Happy Mother's Day on Sunday!

Thursday June 26th

Well, unfortunately I was home sick today and did not get to have the goodbye I would have liked with the students today.  I hope that everyone has a wonderful summer.  I look forward to seeing all of the children in September!

September 4 - Welcome Back!

Today we reviewed our RoaRS expectations and made flowers to contribute to our school mural.  Some of the grade fours started doing bead chains.  We also did a Get to Know You Bingo to make connections with our classmates.  Agendas will be coming home soon!
