Friday Sept. 20

 Today we had our first Math Perplexor.  Please ask your child to tell you about this.  All of the Montessori classes gathered today to honour the International Day of Peace and ask for peace to prevail in our world.

Homework this weekend:

 - no school on Monday

 - What in the World if not complete (5/6)

 - Canadian Reader if not complete (4)

 - Word Study activity if not complete

 - Gazette if not complete

Monday November 4th

Today we went to the library and continued to challenge ourselves with programing the Edisons.  The students had to build a pencil holder and then create a program to draw a circle.  We have started a review of patterning as well in Math. Homework:  - home reading  - word study  - unfinished work   - library tomorrow  - gym tomorrow  - art card order due  Have a great night!

Thursday October 31

 Today we had a STEM challenge where the students were challenged to build a launcher for a bouncy ball.  Tomorrow we will go outside and test our builds.  We will be outside for a portion of the day tomorrow to complete a couple of activities (as long as it is not raining) so please make sure that you are dressed for the weather.  In the afternoon the students enjoyed a variety of Halloween activities.   Homework tonight:  - Have a safe and happy Halloween!  - Field Trip Permission Form
