Monday September 16

 Today we had our first Lock Down Drill.  The students did a good job of keeping silent during this time.  We had our first Math Monday today and did an estimation activity.  Please ask your child about this process.  We started practicing our song for Peace Day Friday, "What a Wonderful World."

Homework

 - please ensure that all Walking Field Trip forms and verification forms have been returned

Monday November 4th

Today we went to the library and continued to challenge ourselves with programing the Edisons.  The students had to build a pencil holder and then create a program to draw a circle.  We have started a review of patterning as well in Math. Thursday October 31

 Today we had a STEM challenge where the students were challenged to build a launcher for a bouncy ball.  Tomorrow we will go outside and test our builds.  We will be outside for a portion of the day tomorrow to complete a couple of activities (as long as it is not raining) so please make sure that you are dressed for the weather.  In the afternoon the students enjoyed a variety of Halloween activities.   Homework tonight:  - Have a safe and happy Halloween!  - Field Trip Permission Form
