Monday October 21st

 We are going to be starting a unit on Matter.  The children are in the process of letting me know the questions they have on this subject before we start exploring.  We went to the library today and learned about Scratch Coding.  We then used this to program Edisons.  

Homework tonight:

 - Home Reading

 - Word Study practice (dictation Thursday)

 - No School Friday

 - Inside/Outside Shoes

 - library tomorrow

 - gym tomorrow

Friday May 9th

We did our fast fact practice again today.  I was VERY pleased to see an improvement in almost everyone from last week!  This afternoon we continued working on our vanishing point art.  Due to the many absences in the classroom today we decided to wait until Monday to do our Word Study Dictation. Monday November 4th

Today we went to the library and continued to challenge ourselves with programing the Edisons.  The students had to build a pencil holder and then create a program to draw a circle.  We have started a review of patterning as well in Math. Homework:  - home reading  - word study  - unfinished work   - library tomorrow  - gym tomorrow  - art card order due  Have a great night!
