Thursday November 28th

 Today we did an experiment and learned about energy.  Please have your child explain potential and kinetic energy to you.  We got together with the other class to practice our songs for the winter concert.

Homework tonight:

 - home reading

 - word study package if not complete

 - any unfinished or missing work

 - pasta/pasta sauce for 12 days

 - yr 6 immunization today, please ask your child for their paperwork

Monday November 4th

Today we went to the library and continued to challenge ourselves with programing the Edisons.  The students had to build a pencil holder and then create a program to draw a circle.  We have started a review of patterning as well in Math. Thursday October 31

 Today we had a STEM challenge where the students were challenged to build a launcher for a bouncy ball.  Tomorrow we will go outside and test our builds.  We will be outside for a portion of the day tomorrow to complete a couple of activities (as long as it is not raining) so please make sure that you are dressed for the weather.  In the afternoon the students enjoyed a variety of Halloween activities.   Homework tonight:  - Have a safe and happy Halloween!  - Field Trip Permission Form
