Friday February 14th

Many of our class decided to go to the Valentine's Dance this afternoon.  Some decided to stay in the classroom to play board games.  We had a wonderful virtual writing workshop with the author David Robertson today!  He helped us to create amazing characters.  A reminder that there is no school on Monday for Family Day.

Homework this weekend:

 - home reading

 - Lit Circle Week 4 if not complete

 - No school Monday

 Today we voted on ideas to make our school better while learning about elections.  Congratulations to the Popcorn Party for winning the vote.  They ran on a campaign designed to include student input in learning. Thursday January 16th

This afternoon we talked about our Heritage Stamps.  We will be working on these more in the following week.  We will also be starting a novel study next week.  Today we looked and voted on the possible novels we will be reading. April 19 - Welcome!

Welcome to our new classroom blog!  As the next few months are going to get busy, I thought that this would be a place that we can update daily in class while we are writing in our agendas.  This way if an agenda has been forgotten, the information can be found here. Thank you to all those who were able to make it to our classroom open house.  The students loved being able to share their learning with you.  To those who were unable to make it today, your child should be bringing home a folder.  Please record your reflections and send this back with your child on Tuesday.
