Tuesday March 11th

This afternoon we did a cooperative art project with out little buddies.  We created robins using the hand prints of the big buddy and little buddy.  In the library today we had fun casting our votes for our favourite books for March Madness.  We also enjoyed the math games that were out for us to play with.

Homework tonight:

 - home reading

 - Lap Books due Friday

 - Math dress up tomorrow Multiples Day

 - Heritage Fair research

 Today we voted on ideas to make our school better while learning about elections.  Congratulations to the Popcorn Party for winning the vote.  They ran on a campaign designed to include student input in learning. Thursday January 16th

This afternoon we talked about our Heritage Stamps.  We will be working on these more in the following week.  We will also be starting a novel study next week.  Today we looked and voted on the possible novels we will be reading. April 19 - Welcome!

Welcome to our new classroom blog!  As the next few months are going to get busy, I thought that this would be a place that we can update daily in class while we are writing in our agendas.  This way if an agenda has been forgotten, the information can be found here. Thank you to all those who were able to make it to our classroom open house.  The students loved being able to share their learning with you.  To those who were unable to make it today, your child should be bringing home a folder.  Please record your reflections and send this back with your child on Tuesday.
