Monday May 12th

We had our word study dictation this morning.  This afternoon we reviewed the rock cycle.  We have Eureka! coming to visit our classroom tomorrow morning.

Homework tonight:

 - home reading (novels to be finished by the end of the month)

 - word study unit 14 if not complete

 - WITW/CR if not complete

 - map due Thursday

 - library tomorrow

- gym tomorrow

Monday November 4th

Today we went to the library and continued to challenge ourselves with programing the Edisons.  The students had to build a pencil holder and then create a program to draw a circle.  We have started a review of patterning as well in Math. Thursday October 31

 Today we had a STEM challenge where the students were challenged to build a launcher for a bouncy ball.  Tomorrow we will go outside and test our builds.  We will be outside for a portion of the day tomorrow to complete a couple of activities (as long as it is not raining) so please make sure that you are dressed for the weather.  In the afternoon the students enjoyed a variety of Halloween activities.   Homework tonight:  - Have a safe and happy Halloween!  - Field Trip Permission Form
