Thursday September 18th

Today the students had a health lesson.  We did a reading response for the novel Fatty Legs.  The students also did a Would You Rather question in math today.  We will be collecting for the Terry Fox Run which takes place next Wednesday.  Please bring in a Toonie for Terry!

Homework tonight:

 - home reading

 - dictation tomorrow

 - $2 for Terry Fox

 - Word Study Sentences if not complete

Today we reviewed our RoaRS expectations and made flowers to contribute to our school mural.  Some of the grade fours started doing bead chains.  We also did a Get to Know You Bingo to make connections with our classmates.  Agendas will be coming home soon!

Monday November 4th

Today we went to the library and continued to challenge ourselves with programing the Edisons.  The students had to build a pencil holder and then create a program to draw a circle.  We have started a review of patterning as well in Math. Thursday October 31

 Today we had a STEM challenge where the students were challenged to build a launcher for a bouncy ball.  Tomorrow we will go outside and test our builds.  We will be outside for a portion of the day tomorrow to complete a couple of activities (as long as it is not raining) so please make sure that you are dressed for the weather.  In the afternoon the students enjoyed a variety of Halloween activities.   Homework tonight:  - Have a safe and happy Halloween!  - Field Trip Permission Form
