Monday November 10th

Today we had our Remembrance Day assembly.  We did a reading today of a newspaper that highlights peace and history of Canada's war involvement.  A reminder that there is no school tomorrow for Remembrance Day.

Homework tonight:

 - home reading

 - no word study this week

 - brainstorm pages of two events from your timeline if not complete

 - library Wednesday

 - gym Wednesday

Friday May 9th

We did our fast fact practice again today.  I was VERY pleased to see an improvement in almost everyone from last week!  This afternoon we continued working on our vanishing point art.  Due to the many absences in the classroom today we decided to wait until Monday to do our Word Study Dictation. Monday November 4th

Today we went to the library and continued to challenge ourselves with programing the Edisons.  The students had to build a pencil holder and then create a program to draw a circle.  We have started a review of patterning as well in Math. Homework:  - home reading  - word study  - unfinished work   - library tomorrow  - gym tomorrow  - art card order due  Have a great night!
