Monday January 12th

We started our research today for our Heritage Stamp paragraphs.  We will be starting our rough copies of our stamp tomorrow so ask your child to share their topic and ideas with you.  Our word study this week is a review list.  The students have 50 words to be studying this week for their Friday dictation.

Homework:
 - home reading
 - word study
 - library books
 - gym tomorrow
 - extra clothes (the fields are very wet!)

Monday November 4th

Today we went to the library and continued to challenge ourselves with programing the Edisons.  The students had to build a pencil holder and then create a program to draw a circle.  We have started a review of patterning as well in Math. Thursday October 31

 Today we had a STEM challenge where the students were challenged to build a launcher for a bouncy ball.  Tomorrow we will go outside and test our builds.  We will be outside for a portion of the day tomorrow to complete a couple of activities (as long as it is not raining) so please make sure that you are dressed for the weather.  In the afternoon the students enjoyed a variety of Halloween activities.   Homework tonight:  - Have a safe and happy Halloween!  - Field Trip Permission Form
