Wednesday January 21

We had a work block Wednesday today!  The children had the day to plan out and work on what they felt they needed to be doing.  There was a lot of great work completed today.  The year fives also completed their Nonfiction Reading Assessment today.

Homework:

 - health tomorrow

 - home reading

 - word study sheet if not complete

 - 5/6 French questions if not complete

  - 80s/90s day Friday

Monday November 4th

Today we went to the library and continued to challenge ourselves with programing the Edisons.  The students had to build a pencil holder and then create a program to draw a circle.  We have started a review of patterning as well in Math. Homework:  - home reading  - word study  - unfinished work   - library tomorrow  - gym tomorrow  - art card order due  Have a great night!

Thursday October 31

 Today we had a STEM challenge where the students were challenged to build a launcher for a bouncy ball.  Tomorrow we will go outside and test our builds.  We will be outside for a portion of the day tomorrow to complete a couple of activities (as long as it is not raining) so please make sure that you are dressed for the weather.  In the afternoon the students enjoyed a variety of Halloween activities.   Homework tonight:  - Have a safe and happy Halloween!  - Field Trip Permission Form
