Friday September 18th

Today we had our first fast facts.  The students had five minutes to answer as many multiplication facts as they could.  This afternoon we celebrated the International Day of Peace.  The children sang beautifully together.

Homework:

 - home reading

 - no school Monday

Monday November 4th

Today we went to the library and continued to challenge ourselves with programing the Edisons.  The students had to build a pencil holder and then create a program to draw a circle.  We have started a review of patterning as well in Math. Homework:  - home reading  - word study  - unfinished work   - library tomorrow  - gym tomorrow  - art card order due  Have a great night!

Wednesday March 11

Today we worked on planning our letter on our cause.  Many of the children have started their rough copy.  The goal for tomorrow is that our rough copy is done so we can work with a friend and do some peer editing.  If your child does not have their plan complete, it is homework.  In gym today the students played Donut. Homework tonight:  - home reading  -  letter planning and rough copy   - unfinished work Have a good night!
